About the Derby

The Genghis Khan World Derby is a multi-day, international endurance race where riders from across the globe take on Mongolia’s vast steppes, rivers, and mountains. Designed as a modern revival of Genghis Khan’s ancient postal relay (Örtöö), riders change horses at checkpoints, face survival challenges, and experience the resilience that built an empire.
